How to reach the Zlatni Rat Beach Resort?

To make your journey to Bol as easy as possible we can provide you with all necessary information about getting to Bol. Here is some useful information on how to reach the Zlatni Rat Beach Resort easily, whether you are arriving by car, using public transport or whether you are looking for a private transfer from the Split Airport, the Airport Brač or one of the two main ferry harbours on the island of Brač.

Arriving by car?

The Split to Bol catamaran ferry is a highly convenient type of transportation when travelling from different parts of Croatia. Seasonal prices may vary, but never exceed 60 HRK one way. Children from 1 – 3 years of age can travel free of charge with their parents. The Split-Bol catamaran ferry will ensure you a fast trip, safety on the sea and make your journey joyful. We highly encourage you to take the Split-Bol catamaran ferry if travelling with a lot of luggage, from nearby areas.

Transfer from Airport Brač

Zlatni Rat Beach Resort will be happy to organize a complete transfer service from Airport Brač to the hotel. It is located 15 km from Bol. Transfer for our guests is free of charge, just let us know in advance, a few days prior to the arrival, your approximate arrival time and we will organize everything for you. Feel free to contact us!

Public transport from Split Airport

You can take a shuttle bus from the Split Airport to the harbor of Split. The journey from Split Airport to Split harbor takes minimum 30 minutes. Then you need to take the car ferry from Split to Supetar harbor (55 minutes).

Once you get to Supetar you can take a local public Bus to Bol. It takes 60min by bus to get to Bol.

You can also reach Bol by catamaran (fast boat - passengers only) departing from Split harbor. The boat takes you directly to Bol and the journey takes one hour. In order to check the timetable, please take a closer look of this webpage:

If you choose to arrive by catamaran, please let us know earlier on the day of arrival and we will wait for you at Bol’s harbor to pick you up.

It is also possible that Zlatni Rat Beach Resort organizes transfer by taxi from Split Airport or Supertar harbor upon request. Please contact us in advance for further information and offer with discounts.

Arriving by car?

From Split?

You need to take a car ferry from Split to Supetar (small town on the north of the island of Brač). It takes 55 min by ferry. Once in Supetar you have 36 km to Bol.

From Makarska ?

You need to take a car ferry from costal town Makarska to Sumartin. It takes 60 min by ferry. Once in Sumartin on the eastern part of the island, you have 25 km to Bol. Please note that the Makarska – Sumartin ferry is much smaller than the Split – Supetar ferry and during July and August we recommend arriving much earlier to ensure a place on the ferry. The sailing schedule is also less frequent than the one from Split to Supetar. In Zlatni Rat Beach Resort you have a free parking.

On entering Bol?

On entering Bol take a walk on the promenade in the direction of the beach Zlatni Rat. Continue for approximately 1 km. Zlatni Rat Beach Resort is located in a protected beach area where no cars are allowed except those for hotel guests. You will come across a blue gate. You just need to show the reservation, and say you have a booking at our hotel and they will let you pass. From the blue gate you have another 350 meters to our Hotel.
